Captain Thunderbolt or just Thunderbolt.
His lover, Mary Ann Bugg (1834-1905) became known as
The Captain's Lady.
They were the subjects of Carol Baxter's book, Captain Thunderbolt and His Lady,
which was published to critical acclaim and is being turned into a TV series.
